GuineaDad's guinea pig cage liners are intentionally made larger than cages. After the first couple washes, the liner will shrink to better fit the cage. If the liner is bigger than the cage, you can use the extra length to cover the wall. Always great to guard against a guinea pig pee gun!

Our little rage potato (Harold) finally found a friend and he needed a good liner due to the... Ahem... Excess business being conducted in the piggy area. I can attest that it has held up very well! The other liners we had might not be the best but I think they will be an excellent donation for the SPCA. There are unfortunately a few misplaced potatoes that show up there and somewhere nice to sleep between homes would be nice 🙂. Thank you guinea dad! Soft and easy to clean
I use these liners for the two ends of my girl's cage. That way, I can change them every three days and keep things fresh. These pads tend to get the most use except for their kitchen area with hay. They launder very well. I do rinse them with water and wring them out (I only do this with the 2 x 1 pads because these are very heavily used by my pigs and I prefer not to run a lot of urine through my washer, but it's probably not necessary), then put them in the washer on a short water only cycle. That gets them good and wet. Then I wash them with soap and vinegar on medium heat water with an extra rinse cycle. Then dry on low heat for about 25 minutes and hang them the rest of the way to dry. They come out super clean. The other great thing about these pads is I get NO debris in my washer. I use the Bissell carpet sweeper on them prior to wash and it removes all hay & hair. I think these pads work better for using an electronic sweeper because they are fully quilted so the liner does not get sucked up into the vacuum. I'm very pleased with these liners and even though I did have an up front investment, it makes life so much easier. My girls are happy too.

Unfortunately I am not having a great experience with the liners. I was very excited after reading such great reviews but mine are getting soaking wet within 18 hrs with only 2 baby guinea pigs and starting to smell if I don’t change within 24 hrs. I have been spot cleaning twice a day and following the washing instructions exactly. But they are definitely better than regular fleece. I just wish they survived at least 3 days without changing !
we have dozens and dozens of these liners. They’re incredible and I must have for all guinea pig owners.

Love this liner - it wicks away moisture, it dries quick, it never feels wet, it smells normal (no pee smell). Its easy to clean, I use unscented and free & gentle TIDE detergent with 1/2 a cup of Allen's original vinegar 5% concentration as a softener and disinfectant. I let it air dry for about a day and it comes out clean with no hairs, pee, marks or anything. I like how the box it came in doubles as a crunchy house for the boys. The package also came with a sticker and instruction manual which is super visual and helpful.

This is the only liner I'm buying from now on. I saw my guinea pig pee on it and the liner absorbed it immediately. Other liners I've used can't do that even after several washes.
I absolutely love these liners! They are very absorbent and don’t smell. They are definitely waterproof! Love the easy to follow washing instructions and they come out clean and fresh after washing. I spot clean them twice a day, morning and night, super easy to sweep them, the fleece is super soft! I do wish there are more darker colors to choose from and not just light pink, after a day in the cage it shows all the little stains from the guinea pigs. I also use GuineaDad the original liners (gray colored) and they work better in my opinion being darker color and visually look cleaner.
The only regret I have is not purchasing the liners earlier, my boys love them!
I bought 4 GuineaDad liners and 10 pee pads and my piggies absolutely LOVE them! I love them as well because clean up is sooooo easy with these. They absorb the pee, so the liner and pee pads stay dry and odor-free which greatly reduces the risk of a respiratory infection and also keeps their feet dry! These products really work and I highly recommend them for your piggies! I initially was hesitant to get these because of the price, but I'm so glad that I bought these because they are WELL WORTH the price you pay for them! Happy and well pigs = happy pig mom! Buy them, you won't be disappointed!

I love the newest bamboo liners! They are so much softer than the original product. Additionally, they seem to be more “padded” and even kinder to my girls’ feet. I love the oversized liner. It allows me to use the additional length and width to run up the sidewalls of the cage to help prevent them from trying to tunnel under the liner directly on to the coroplast. (I use one 3x2 and one 2x2 liner in their 2x5 C& C cage in addition to a 1x2 “kitchen”) These new liners seem to launder well too, just don’t cook them in the dryer. Try partially drying them in the dryer and then line drying until they’re completely dry.
I've been struggling with bedding options for awhile. Fleece is smelly within a day and the laundry to wash it is neverending. I love paper bedding for odor control, but it's soooo expensive. Wood shavings wont work with my hairless piggie because of his sensitive skin. So I thought I would give guineadad a try. So far I'm very pleased. I can use it for a few days with daily spot cleaning before having to change it and the smell has been a lot better. I didn't buy them sooner because they are quite pricey, but I think they will save me money over time. 😀
Ziti loves her new bedding! Her favorite spot is on the pee pad under the water bottle. She likes to stretch out on it as if she was on a luxurious queen size bed 😁 My other girl, Xanadu, has the same setup but she is camera shy and hiding in her castle. The Premium liner is so much softer and cushier compared to original Guinea Dad liners and pads. This is the second set I bought and I find them easier to clean during daily sweepings and they come out good after washing and drying but they are heavier when removing them from the washer.
After many years and dollars spent on disposable paper bedding, I decided to try the Premium GuineaDad liner. Not only am I delighted to be free of that dusty bedding, but my piggies, each in their own homes, are clearly much more cozy and comfortable. It is truly a joy to see them playing and lounging on the soft surface, knowing it is better for them in every way!
Upgraded to the premium bedding for a little more money and couldn't be happier! Will definitely be buying more, and won't ever buy from any other company. Highly highly recommend!
I absolutely love these premium GuineaDad liners and the pee pads! My little skinny pig loves them too! They are very cushiony and very absorbent, very easy to clean and very easy to do touch up cleaning! So much better than shavings or litter! No odors at all! Cuts my cleaning time in half!! I'm really loving these new premium liners. Was excited to see they're made in all sizes now and the 2x1 has been perfect for the pigs' loft. The regular liners are great too, but these ones are a bit more heavy duty so they don't get pushed around during zoomies. Also crazy easy to clean and don't even need to use heat when I put them in the dryer, which I imagine means they'll last much longer.
Much larger than expected which is perfect because I didn't need to use as many as I thoughti would need which means I have extras to swap out. our 5 girls were super excited and were talking to each other about their new pads and crunchy condos♥️

The Ladies have a unique size Manor and they look forward to having their Plush Guinea Dad Liners in there- NO other sub par liner will do - Guinea Dad all the way! Please make a 42”x 42” size…for their base cage
One of my liners is working great, both are excellent at wicking so the top is dry but at least one of them leaks through the bottom onto the corroplast. Unfortunate because these are so expensive but for the wicking quality it could still be worth getting one and then throwing another absorbing layer under it. Unless I just got one defective one, which could be possible. My original, standard guineadad liner, in spite of some shrinkage and change in texture from being washed hundreds of times, has actually held up for over a year at this point for both absorption and wicking, if that's helpful information.
I have used Guinea Dad liners for years. They are fabulous- durable & dependable & easy to clean. All my piggies love the pocket. I currently have 3 connected cages- 2 have liners with pockets & the middle cage has no pocket but 2 hides. It’s the perfect set up.

I love the Guinea Dad fleece liners! The top layer does a great job wicking wetness and they are easy to care for. The tip of using a curry comb on the liner before washing has been an easy addition to the routine. The waterproof underlayer makes cage cleaning day faster and easier. They seem very durable and comfortable for the guinea pigs.

These are a huge step up from their previous pads and I have used those for the last 6 years. They’ve held up perfectly all these years. It seems to be the guinea pigs favorite pad. I like the water-proof back. I also like the stitching in the front. The stitching keeps it flat, no bunching up. It is nice and thick and soft.
Worth the price. Washes well and easy to sweep up.

Had very high expectations from this item, specially after paying such high price. Very disappointed with the product. The mat is supposed to suck in the liquid which it does but spits right out underneath. Within 24 hours of laying it in the cage, had puddles of urine underneath on the cage floor. Big disappointment. Have a similar product from a different seller which works wonders compared to this one. Can have it in the cage for a week long and it holds everything inside.
